  • Can I hire you?
Thank you for your interest. This is the question I get asked the most. Currently, I don't do photo shoots for hire. I'm always looking to do new and interesting photos, so if you have an idea for an interesting shoot send me a message and I'll consider do it for TFP. For more information on TFP search for TFP in FAQ.
  • What is TFP?
TFP (Trade for Print or Time for Pics) is a term used in photography communities to describe an arrangement between a model (or client) and a photographer whereby the photographer agrees to provide the model with an number of pictures and a limited license to use those pictures in return for the model's time. In short, if I agree to do a photo shoot on a TFP bases I will provide the images from the shoot at no cost. Every photo shoot arrangements are different and consequence the agreed terms vary widely.
  • What camera equipment do you use?
I use an old Canon 40D. I am not a Canon vs. Nikon vs. your favorite manufacture. I just picked Canon when I started and have several Canon lens and it gets the job done.
  • What software do you use?
I use Lightroom and Photoshop. I would strongly suggest that if anyone is getting into photography, one of the first things they do is start with Lightroom. As of the time I'm writing this, you can get both Lightroom CC & Photoshop CC for $9.99 per month. http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography.html
  • How long have you been taking pictures?
I started taking photography serious in 2006 when I was spending too much time in Photoshop fixed my bad images. I wanted to take a better picture as to save myself extra time in Photoshop. I took several photography classes at the Morean Arts Center and then shot thousands and thousands of pictures -- practice, practice, practice). Don’t be afraid to try something. In today’s world of digital photography, if you don’t like it, just delete it.
